Limited Editions

Even as studio projects aim to maximize the yield of material, there is often leftover felt in the form of offcuts and roll ends. See product photos showing how each piece is designed to make use of the whole remnant. The edition is determined by the limits of the material.

Launched in December 2023, products will continue to be added through 2024.

Classic Collection

FELT began with a handbag collection in June 2000. Over the years, the designs have changed to  settle on the best material for versatility and durability..

Commissions

Since the early days of FELT, companies, clients and institutions have commissioned customized products for furnishing and packaging, for membership drives, gifts and fundraisers. Using a collaborative approach, FELT can adapt designs to different needs and interests. These past projects showcase the range of products. Contact for the studio for more info.

Handmade in the studio

The FELT studio is located in midtown Toronto and all products are designed by Kathryn Walter and handmade from felts sourced locally. Walter’s designs aim for maximum yield of material, often made from simple squares and rectangles, as she finds creativity in the limits of form. Currently FELT products are only available online.
